Remote LCSW & LMFT Jobs in Louisiana
Find work opportunities and resources for remote LCSW & LMFT jobs in Louisiana.
Louisiana has a severe shortage of mental health professionals and resources that has worsened because of demand associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. Although the shortage is statewide, rural areas have been hit the hardest.
The demand has resulted in a need for master’s level therapists throughout Louisiana. Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) and Licensed Family and Marriage Therapists (LMFT) are in especially high demand. Although both have different paths to licensure, therapists with either degree will find a wealth of job opportunities in hospitals, non-profit agencies, and other mental health care facilities.
