A New Horizon for Wheel

The clearest expression yet of where we have been and where care can go next.

This brand refresh feels deeply personal.

I have always loved Wheel green. That color came to me in a vision in the Utah desert. But this moment matters for reasons much bigger than a new website or a clearer explanation of what we do.

For the first time, the way Wheel presents itself reflects the full company we have spent years building: the history that shaped us, the capabilities we have assembled, and the future we are ready to create.

We are not changing who we are. We are showing more clearly who we have always been.

That is why the idea of a horizon runs through this new brand. A horizon is where the ground we have covered meets what comes next. It moves as we move, letting us look forward without losing sight of where we came from.

The colors in this new expression carry that history. Pathway's purple reaches back to the earliest chapter of our journey. Wheel green carries forward the belief that has guided us ever since: healthcare moves when people, technology, and organizations work together.

No single company will own the entire patient journey. No technology, clinician, pharmacy, health plan, employer, retailer, or consumer brand can provide everything a person needs. Healthcare is an ecosystem, and each participant brings something essential.

Wheel creates the momentum that helps those strengths work together.

The system I needed as a patient

That mission has always been personal to me.

Before I was a founder or CEO, I was a patient. I was a young girl growing up in a rural community where access to care was limited. Later, I became a woman and a mother navigating autoimmune conditions, postpartum health, and the demands of building a company.

I spent years trying to assemble a version of healthcare that worked for me. My journey took me through the system most of us know, but also into preventive health, longevity medicine, and new ways of understanding my body.

Over time, I realized I did not need to choose one model of care. I needed the right pieces to work together around me.

People should not have to choose between the clinical care they already depend on and new ways of understanding their health. Their records, labs, wearable data, medications, goals, lived experience, and ongoing care should contribute to a more complete picture.

That personal realization mirrors what we have learned at Wheel.

Healthcare now starts everywhere. It can begin with a question, an AI conversation, a wearable signal, a lab result, an employer benefit, a pharmacy interaction, a consumer brand, or a clinician.

But a starting point does not guarantee the right care.
An AI answer is not care. A record is not care. A visit, by itself, is not care.

The hard part is keeping care moving.

From virtual care to care orchestration

When Wheel began enabling virtual care nationwide, the work required far more than connecting a patient with a clinician. Every program depended on clinical operations, quality systems, pharmacy workflows, payments, reimbursement, state-by-state infrastructure, partner coordination, and technology flexible enough to serve different brands and populations.

Across more than 9 million completed patient visits and more than 100 treatment areas, we have learned where healthcare breaks: where context disappears, authorization stalls, prescriptions fail to reach the patient, referrals lose momentum, or people are forced to start over.

That operating knowledge became Horizon.

What it takes to scale

Standing up a digital care experience is one thing. Making it work at enterprise scale is another.

The market has produced many direct-to-consumer and direct-to-patient initiatives. Far fewer have reached durable scale. Technology can create a front door. It cannot by itself create reliable care at scale.

That takes clinical governance, operational discipline, state-by-state infrastructure, demand planning, pharmacy and payment workflows, partner coordination, quality systems, and continuous improvement.

Wheel knows what this takes because we have spent years operating it. We work alongside customers from configuration and implementation through launch, operation, and multi-year expansion. We use appropriately governed operating data and the patterns we have learned from delivering care at scale to anticipate demand, identify where programs may strain, and help enterprises adapt as the market changes.

Wheel does not simply help an enterprise enter digital care. We help it build a care system that can scale, adapt, and become more valuable over time.

Today, Wheel is an enterprise care orchestration company. We help enterprises make the parts of their healthcare offering work as one connected system: patient context, clinical care, pharmacy, benefits, payments, specialty services, data, and partners.

Our mission is to connect health context, clinical expertise, and intelligence so every action builds toward better care.

Enterprises use Wheel to launch care, extend into new services, or connect capabilities they already have, all under their own brands. We remain alongside them as those care systems operate, expand, and improve.

Our role is to help determine the right path, make the next action happen, and carry what is learned into whatever comes next.

We have not pivoted away from virtual care. We are naming the larger system that years of virtual care required us to build.

The next horizon of care

At the center of that system is Horizon, Wheel's enterprise care orchestration platform. It serves as the Clinical Action Layer that turns health context into coordinated clinical and operational action and keeps care moving.

Horizon brings together what is known about a person, the enterprise's care model and requirements, the activated care delivery environment, and the clinicians and services available at that moment. It supports the appropriate next action, coordinates the clinical and operational work required to complete it, and carries the result forward. Horizon Composer is the configuration experience for Horizon. It gives enterprises control over how their care is connected, governed, delivered, and measured.

Every current Horizon deployment includes an activated care delivery environment, the governed clinical structure through which care is delivered. The environment defines the clinical scope, protocols, quality system, clinician requirements, and escalation model. Horizon coordinates the context and work around care. Clinicians retain clinical judgment and accountability.

Care delivery is proof that Horizon works in the real world, not the ceiling of what Wheel is. The value is the enterprise system that makes care configurable, connected, governable, measurable, and reusable.

The name captures both continuity and possibility. Horizon brings what Wheel has learned through years of care delivery into the work of helping enterprises build what comes next. With more than 2.1 billion possible care configurations, it can adapt to different brands, populations, care models, networks, partners, and requirements. That scale matters because no two enterprises organize care in exactly the same way.

AI gives us a way to do that at a scale we could not reach before.

Our work with AI did not begin when generative AI became mainstream. We had already spent years using automation to remove friction from care delivery and operations. Now AI can help understand context, prepare work, coordinate actions across systems, and help teams improve the care model over time.

AI is embedded throughout Horizon and Wheel's operations. Within Horizon, governed Clinical Decision Support and the Clinical Assistant help structure context, identify gaps, surface relevant evidence, and prepare repeatable work. The clinician makes the clinical decision. Horizon coordinates the work that makes that decision actionable and keeps the result connected.

This is possible because we built and control much of the technology that care runs on, including our electronic medical record, data systems, clinician dashboards, care delivery workflows, enterprise configuration, and operational tools. AI is being built into that infrastructure, close to the clinical and operational workflows where care actually happens.

For customers, this can mean launching faster and operating programs with less administrative work. Clinicians can enter an encounter with a fuller patient story, relevant evidence, and next steps ready to review. Patients can spend less time repeating themselves or reaching another dead end.

But building faster matters only if it helps us deliver better care.

We won't define progress by the number of AI interactions. What matters is whether the right action happened, the surrounding work was completed, and the next step stayed connected.

AI can help care teams understand context, prepare for decisions, and coordinate repeatable work around care. In every case, clinicians retain judgment, relationships, complex decisions, and accountability. Responsible AI in healthcare must be clinically governed, explainable, reliable, auditable, and designed to recognize when human judgment is required.

Building in the clinician's corner

Clinicians become even more important in this model.

Wheel has always been in the clinician's corner. We began by creating new ways for clinicians to practice, reach patients, and build careers in virtual care. As Wheel has evolved, we have continued building tools that help them practice in a more connected, informed, and sustainable way.

AI can take on repeatable work around care: assembling the patient story, supporting intake, surfacing relevant evidence, preparing documentation, monitoring progress, coordinating follow-up, and managing administrative workflows.

That gives clinicians more time for the work only they can do: applying judgment, building relationships, making complex decisions, and being accountable for care.

It also helps clinical expertise go further. Generalist clinicians can resolve more needs with the right intelligence and support. Specialists can receive better-prepared cases, with the relevant history, workup, evidence, and clinical question already assembled. Patients can move through the system without repeating their story at every step.

AI coordinates repeatable work. Clinicians own clinical judgment. Wheel orchestrates the system that makes their decisions actionable.

Introducing Pathway

Pathway is one way we are putting this next chapter into practice.

Pathway by Wheel is Wheel's longevity care business unit and a care delivery environment powered by Horizon. Its mission is to make longevity care more connected, clinically grounded, and actionable over time. It brings together health context, clinical expertise, and ongoing care so people can better understand their health, take the right next action, and stay connected as their needs evolve.

It also demonstrates how an enterprise can bring longevity and preventive health into the relationship it already has with members, customers, or patients, without assembling the clinical, operational, pharmacy, payment, data, and quality infrastructure from scratch.

Partners can bring their brand, audience, data, benefits, products, clinicians, and ecosystem to a connected care model that can scale and improve over time. Each experience can feel entirely its own while Horizon becomes stronger underneath.

Pathway is especially meaningful to me because it reflects something I have experienced personally: the relief of finally finding care designed around your whole life.

As I navigated autoimmune conditions, postpartum health, raising children, and the intensity of building Wheel, longevity and preventive care gave me a new way to understand my health. I feel better than I have in years, not because one model had every answer, but because the pieces began working together around me.

That is the experience Pathway is designed to help make possible for others.

Moving healthcare forward, together

This brand refresh holds the full story of Wheel: the colors that carry our history, the vision that led us into virtual care, the clinicians who made that care possible, the enterprises that trusted us to build alongside them, and the technology that now allows those capabilities to work as one system.

Each horizon is a nod to part of that journey. Together, they show the distance we have traveled and the future we can now see more clearly.

The belief behind Wheel has not changed. Healthcare moves forward when the right people, intelligence, services, and organizations work together. Each contributes what it does best, creating momentum none could create alone.

Wheel's role is to make that ecosystem move.

We have grown from powering individual care moments to orchestrating everything required around them. AI makes Horizon faster, more capable, and easier to adapt, while clinicians remain at the center of judgment, relationships, and accountability. Pathway makes those capabilities visible through a connected longevity journey that begins with Longevity Foundation and can continue into one or more of seven connected care programs.

All of it points to a new horizon built from every chapter that came before.

I am more energized than ever. As a builder, founder, mother, patient, and leader, I am ready to build this next generation of healthcare.

Healthcare starts everywhere.

Wheel keeps care moving.
