Requirements for Remote Nurse Practitioners in Iowa

Do you want to become an advanced registered nurse practitioner (ARNP) in Iowa? You must meet the following requirements to receive licensure in this state:

  • Education: You must hold a current registered nurse (RN) license in Iowa or in a state that is part of the Nursing Licensure Compact. You must also graduate from an advanced practice master of science in nursing program, or you must complete a doctoral degree program in advanced practice.
