How to Become a Remote Nurse Practitioner in Tennessee

Once you earn your nurse practitioner license, there are many remote work opportunities to explore in Tennessee. From Knoxville to Memphis, and Nashville down to Chattanooga, there are high-quality full-time and part-time jobs available for telemedicine nurse practitioners.

As you begin to apply for these jobs, keep the following information in mind:

  • Work-from-home nurse practitioner or remote nurse practitioner: As a licensed nurse practitioner, you may work full-time, part-time, or per diem in this role. Many candidates seek remote positions because they allow you to work with a healthcare agency, provider, or group outside of your immediate area. When you apply for this job type, be sure to check if there is any on-site patient care or work.

  • Additional training: Each healthcare facility, practice, and group will have different systems, protocols, and training standards. As a remote nurse practitioner, you may need to fulfill employer-specific training requirements.
