Wheels Up! A Fresh Identity for 2020 & Beyond

Wheel Health Co-Founders Michelle Davey & Griffin Mulcahey

Enzyme Health is now Wheel. Hear from our CEO, Michelle Davey, on the mission behind our new brand and what it means for you.

Friends,

I’m excited to announce a new chapter for our organization. We are officially saying goodbye to our old name and welcoming a fresh, revised identity. Say hello to Wheel!

Why Wheel?

With the start of the new year—and new decade—it seemed appropriate to take stock of who we are, where we’ve been, and where we’re going. I co-founded this company with our Chief Compliance & Strategy Officer, Griffin Mulcahey, with a vision to help clinicians and the industry deliver better care for all. Now, we’re dialing up our efforts to continue to achieve that vision.

The first wheel was invented over 5,000 years ago to help move something that one person could not move alone. And that’s what Wheel represents-- a commitment to moving the healthcare industry forward together, with clinicians, organizations, and patients all playing an integral role. Our new name signifies the momentum we bring to the market to truly change the way healthcare works.

At the core of the United States healthcare crisis is a human resource shortage. Clinicians are burning out, opting out, and retiring in massive numbers. Simultaneously, patient access is limited due to healthcare companies operating on a 1:1 model—employing clinicians to work for one geographically limited organization at a time.

It doesn’t have to be this way.

  • We should empower clinicians to work differently by unburdening the system to allow them to serve more patients with better care.
  • We should protect clinicians by creating care environments that are above-board and compliant.
  • We should elevate the care patients deserve by bringing specially-trained clinicians to deliver quality virtual care.
  • We should drive down patient costs by bringing alternative, transparent models to healthcare.
  • We should increase patient access by bringing innovative virtual care solutions to the market.

That’s where Wheel comes in. We’ve set out to empower clinicians on the front lines of patient care while delivering quality virtual care that scales with organizational needs.

For clinicians who are passionate about providing quality patient care, but want more freedom and balance in their careers: Wheel is bringing the future of work to healthcare because we believe happier clinicians make healthier patients.

For companies determined to reimagine the system of healthcare delivery: Wheel provides the highest quality virtual care at scale—bringing organizational visions into reality.

For passionate thinkers wanting to make a difference: Wheel offers a rewarding career in the quest for better healthcare.

We’re so proud of what we’ve accomplished with our Care Team and clients in the last two years with Enzyme, but it’s time to move faster, to do more, and to mobilize an industry that’s ready for change. Now with solid investment backing, a growing team, innovative partners, and a future-looking vision, we are destined to achieve our mission.

But we can’t do it without you. We need people from within and beyond healthcare to help further our collective mission to build a more accessible, more equitable, healthcare system.

Join us as we pave the way to better care and change the way healthcare works! Let’s get rolling.
